Family Green Cards: November Visa Bulletin Moves Forward, but Check the Right Column
Priority dates for several family categories advanced in the November 2026 Visa Bulletin. USCIS will use the Dates for Filing chart for family-based adjustment applications this month, but a filing date is not the same as a visa being issued.

- The November chart is not an interview schedule. It shows which priority dates can move forward, by category and chargeability area.
- USCIS is using Dates for Filing for family cases in November. Applicants filing Form I-485 must meet the chart date and every other eligibility requirement.
- The table below uses the "All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed" column. People born in Vietnam usually fall under that column, but some cases need individual advice on chargeability.

Garden Grove — regular meetings canceled
A notice dated Oct. 22 canceled the regular Oct. 27 meetings of the City Council, Housing Authority, Successor Agency, and Sanitary District. The city did not state a reason in the notice.

Westminster City Council · 6:00 p.m.
The council will consider replacing the vacant Housing Specialist position with a Housing Manager to oversee housing programs; selecting a firm to audit energy use at city facilities; and receiving a report on public right-of-way trash and bulky-item cleanup. The official agenda is now accessible through the Granicus RSS feed, replacing our earlier note that we had not located it. The open session is at 8200 Westminster Blvd.; the closed session begins at 5:00 p.m.
